About Joe

Building the American Dream

Joe cut his teeth in the trades as a high school student turned bowling alley handyman to earn some extra cash. Today, Joe operates the largest privately held, family-owned air conditioning, electric, security and plumbing company in the United States.

Headquartered in Florida, Joe built Strada Services from the ground up into a company with more than 4,000 employees across 13 states and annual revenue exceeding $1.1 billion, creating thousands of jobs—including several hundred in Florida’s 11th Congressional District at locations in Clermont, Wildwood, and Tavares.

Conservative Businessman Who Shares Our Values

A father and grandfather fighting to ensure that access to opportunity for the next generation is preserved for anyone willing to roll up their sleeves and work for it.

Chicago by birth and Floridian by choice, Joe Strada is a self-made, successful businessman, an advocate for traditional trades and a staunch conservative who still believes in the American Dream.

The Harvard of Trades Training

Strada Training Program

Founded in 2003 and based in Sanford, Florida, Strada Services specializes in on-the-job, paid training, employment opportunities and mentorship in high-demand trades. Frustrated by skilled-worker shortages, Joe and his sons developed a curriculum that would become the Strada Training Program.

We are vested in our employees’ growth and development now and in the future. Strada’s mission is to provide a stable career for driven individuals looking for a rewarding workplace and career satisfaction.

We teach all levels of electrical, air conditioning and plumbing installations in the residential field. All apprenticeship trainees receive an hourly wage while being trained for a lifetime career and all graduates of the Strada Apprenticeship Program are guaranteed placement after completion. Strada is a once and done company for training and career.

Washington already has plenty of politicians. What it needs are more people who have signed the front of a paycheck, built businesses, created jobs, and solved real-world problems. I'm running as a conservative outsider because the status quo isn't working for the families and businesses that keep this country moving.
